Notice Description

Single supplier framework for the design, commission and installation of substation power equipment. The Direct Current High Speed Circuit Breakers (DCHSCBs) that comprise the DC switchboard in Love Lane, Jubilee Bridge, Mitcham Junction, Woodside, Parkway, Beckenham Junction, Sandilands, Belgrave Walk, Dundonald Road, East Croydon Substations were installed in the late 1990's and these circuit breakers are nearing the end of their serviceable life. By renewing and upgrading the DC switchboard at these 10 Substations the project will improve the system resilience and availability by introducing new equipment. This will in turn reduce the risk of service impacting failures and improve the whole life costs for these assets.
