Notice Description
North Tyneside Council is seeking to procure a new framework arrangement to support people to live independently in their own home. The Service will enable a person to live an independent life, remain in their own home and fully engage in their community. The Service will support people assessed by North Tyneside Adult Social Care and by the North East and North Cumbria Integrated Care Board. Note to Suppliers: You must have or obtain prior to commencing the contract a CQC registration in either North Tyneside, Northumberland or Newcastle. Approximate Value - PS 234M
Lot Information
Lot 1 - Named Provider in Zone 1
Two (2) Named Providers to provide care and support services when required to enable a person to live an independent life, remain in their own home and fully engage in their community. Zone 1 - Whitley Bay
Renewal: 2-year Framework Contract with the option to extend for a further 2 years. Extensions will be based on a 1 yr plus 1 yr extension, total contract period if both extensions taken - 4 years.
Lot 2 - Named Provider in Zone 2Two (2) Named Providers to provide care and support services when required to enable a person to live an independent life, remain in their own home and fully engage in their community. Zone 2 - Tynemouth
Renewal: 2-year Framework Contract with the option to extend for a further 2 years. Extensions will be based on a 1 yr plus 1 yr extension, total contract period if both extensions taken - 4 years.

Planning Information
North Tyneside will be holding 2 (possibly 3) engagement events. The events will cover an overview on the contract, timeline of the procurement, social value requirements and portal information. The 2 events will be held via teams on the following dates: 12th March 2026 - 10:00am 17th March 2026 - 10:00am (Note:) If there is a requirement the Authority will arrange a further face to face event - date and time to be confirmed.
