The primary purpose of the accommodation is to provide an alternative to rough sleeping for people at risk of or already doing so. We are currently testing the market for: Option 1: Organisations with: a. Premises, that they currently own, and which are suitable for use for the hostel provision within the B&NES area; or b. Premises suitable for the hostel provision, that they can acquire through leasing/partnership agreement within the B&NES area; or c. A site that can be developed into hostel premises within the B&NES area, by the supplier organisation. Option 2: Organisations that could: d. Source a site/building within the B&NES area and, in partnership with the council, develop a hostel to meet current and future needs of homeless population. e. In the event that the council is able to secure a suitable site, work in partnership to develop and deliver a hostel to meet current and future needs of homeless population. The organisation will then provide support and housing management.
