Notice Description
Avon & Somerset waste management services. This Tender will be split into Lots per waste stream as detailed below: * Lot 1 - Dry Mixed Recycling and General Waste * Lot 2 - Hazardous Waste * Lot 3 - Metal Waste * Lot 4 - Skip Hire * Lot 5 - IT disposal * Lot 6 - Washroom Services
Lot Information
Lot 1 - Dry Mixed Recycling and General Waste
The Customer requires a Service for dry mixed recyclables, food waste and general waste. This will include, but is not limited to, general waste, food waste, non-confidential paper (including pre-shredded protectively marked paper), tins, cans, plastic, glass, cardboard, newspaper/magazines.
Lot 2 - Hazardous WasteThe Customer requires a Service for the removal and disposal of hazardous waste (including WEEE). This includes waste defined by the European Waste Catalogue, which includes, but is not limited to, electrical waste, workshop waste, batteries, chemical waste and animal waste.
Lot 3 - Metal WasteThe Customer requires a Service for metal waste collection and disposal. This will include, but is not limited to, the disposal of copper, lead, brass, aluminium, steel, bicycles, engines, furniture, filing cabinets, sharp edged weapons (weapons which shall be rendered harmless by the Customer), fragments of cut firearms and miscellaneous metal waste.
Lot 4 - Skip HireThe Customer requires a Service for the provision of delivery and collection of skips.
Lot 5 - IT DisposalThe Customer requires a Service for IT Disposal. This will include, but is not limited to, disposal of laptops, base units, monitors, desktop printers, hard drives, cables and peripherals (including mice, keyboards and portable storage) and mobile phones.
Lot 6 - Washroom ServicesThe Customer requires a Service for Washroom Services. This will include, but is not limited to, the collection and disposal of sanitary waste, the collection and disposal of sharps waste, the collection and disposal of hard and soft clinical waste, the service of Air fresheners and vending machines and the supply of associated washroom related equipment.
