This event aims to position the UK as a trusted partner in Africa's expanding health industries and advance commercial opportunities for UK industries in vaccine production in Africa. This private event will convene senior UK and African policymakers, healthcare leaders, and industry stakeholders to strengthen partnerships and drive forward shared priorities in vaccine production and related health manufacturing capabilities. The event forms part of the UK Government's commitment to supporting Africa's growing health industries while advancing commercial opportunities for UK businesses in the sector.

The Department of Health and Social Care is seeking sponsors to deliver a high-level 2-day UK-Africa workshop in October/November 2025. This event aims to position the UK as a trusted partner in Africa’s expanding health industries and advance commercial opportunities for UK industries in vaccine production in Africa. This private event will convene senior UK and African policymakers, healthcare leaders, and industry stakeholders to strengthen partnerships and drive forward shared priorities in vaccine production and related health manufacturing capabilities. The event forms part of the UK Government’s commitment to supporting Africa’s growing health industries while advancing commercial opportunities for UK businesses in the sector. A range of opportunities are available, including but not limited to content, programme partnerships, speaking and network opportunities, offering an exceptional platform for UK pharmaceutical companies to: - Access a high-profile platform to raise your brand reputation and awareness. - Have the opportunity to engage a high-profile audience, interacting and networking with senior government representatives and decision makers from both the UK and African health sectors. - with the strategic priorities of UK HMG, and position your company as an industry leader. - Access a gateway to African markets, facilitating connections and opportunities for commercial partnerships, deals and investment. - Contribute to the conversation on strategies to strengthening Africa’s manufacturing capacity to improve its health systems, access to medical products, and global supply chain resilience. Audience UK pharmaceuticals companies involved in vaccine production and related health manufacturing capabilities, including those interested in technology transfer, medical supply chains, manufacturing and research.
