The Meon Valley partnership (MVP) was formed in 2008 to facilitate a more strategic, co-ordinated and effective approach to the conservation and management of the river and the surrounding valley. It is a strong partnership of local organisations and has undertaken a number of projects including control of Invasive non-native species, water vole reintroduction and channel enhancements. In order to fully understand the catchment and help to prioritise future projects the MVP would like to commission a Catchment Risk assessment.
