It is particularly advantageous for organisations with experience in telecommunications research, network design, and standards development processes. Companies with expertise in specific working groups such as 3GPP SA2, TSG RAN, and those familiar with Open RAN design and the debates surrounding 6G development are well-suited to compete. The open procurement method not only supports fair competition but also encourages participation from both large enterprises and small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), fostering an inclusive environment for business growth through advanced connectivity technology projects.
