Achieving for Children Community Interest Company is buying overnight respite care for disabled children and young people. The service will operate from Moor Lane Respite Centre (Rainbow House), an overnight short-break facility in Kingston upon Thames. It is intended for children and young people who may have multiple disabilities, complex medical needs and challenging behaviour, and covers health, social work and related support services. The Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames is managing the procurement, with Achieving for Children as the buyer. The requirement includes providing safe overnight care within a residential setting, supporting children’s physical and emotional wellbeing, safeguarding, enjoyable experiences, participation in activities, and ensuring that children’s views are heard and valued.
