Summary of the contracting process

The Peak District National Park Authority has concluded a comprehensive procurement process for the framework of aerial works for moorland restoration, titled "MFF164-01 aerial works 2025-28." The winning bids, under an open procedure, have been awarded primarily to T.S.L. Contractors Ltd. and PLM Dollar Group Limited. With a focus on air transport services, this procurement targets two main sites in the Peak District and South Pennines, extending from September 2025 to March 2028. The procurement stage, completed on 9 April 2026, was a collaborative effort with an estimated total framework value of £3,720,000, and includes elements such as brash and stone transportation. The location for service delivery includes regions like UKD and UKE within the United Kingdom, emphasizing the buyer's commitment to environmental restoration.

This tender offers considerable opportunities for business growth, particularly for SMEs skilled in air transport services and environmental restoration projects. Companies with expertise in aerial logistics, material handling for moorland restoration, and previous project delivery experience in environmental works are well-suited to compete. The framework's re-opening for further competitions ensures that there will be more opportunities for suppliers to engage with the project, promoting active participation by capable contractors in this field. This initiative supports sustainable development goals and fosters an environment for businesses to contribute to vital environmental conservation efforts.
