LOLER Inspections
Notice Description
Moat Homes Limited is a housing association that own and manage approximately 22,000 properties across the southeast of England. The geographical spread of Moat properties are Kent, London, Essex and Sussex. Ensuring 100% compliancy with Fire, Lifts, Asbestos, Gas, Electrical and Legionella services is something that Moat are very proud of being able to achieve. We are now looking for an experienced single provider to support us in maintaining 100% compliance by delivering LOLER Inspections to both passenger and domestic lifts in Moat properties. There are 97 passenger lifts and 118 domestic lifts that are subject to LOLER inspections.

Renewal: The contract will include options to extend up to a maximum of four years depending on supplier performance.
Planning Information
Moat has never procured for LOLER inspections as this was previously provided by our insurance provider. Due to this being a new service, we want to engage with suppliers to help shape our requirements and understand the market for suppliers that offer LOLER services. Meetings will be a maximum of 1 hour long and will be held via Microsoft Teams on the 28th and 29th July 2025. If you are interested in meeting with us, please contact us at tenders@moat.co.uk by 5pm Thursday 24th July 2025. An agenda will be issued to all invited suppliers by 5pm Friday 25th July 2025. This will include a list of questions that will be asked to allow for preparation.
