Notice Description
The Supported Lodgings service in Bedford provides a vital resource for young people transitioning from care to independent living. The supported lodgings service offers young people aged between 16-25 a safe and supportive environment where they can develop the skills needed for independent living. Hosts play a crucial role in providing stability and guidance during this transitional period. Objectives for project 1. Increase Host Recruitment: Drive a targeted recruitment campaign to attract more hosts. 2. Strengthen the Current Model: Explore alternative providers and create a framework to encourage participation. 3. Optimise Placements: Maximise the number of hosts and move young people from costly provisions to supported lodgings, generating savings and ensuring local placements.
