Notice Description
The Authority's food and drink evidence and analytical team purchases market intelligence data and reports on the United Kingdom (UK) and global food and drink industry on an annual basis. Market intelligence data and reports are one of the many tools used by the Authority's economists, statisticians, social researchers, and policy advisors to help in assessing issues such as export potential, sector market size, market segmentation, company market shares, brand market shares, and to forecast market growth.
Lot Information
LOT 1 - Provision of UK food and drink reports, consumer polling data
Providing market intelligence and data reporting for food and drink companies in the UK. The Contractor shall provide detailed and insightful market intelligence reports and data which covers the food and drink manufacturing, food and drink retailing, and the catering (foodservice) sectors in the UK. Information on the UK food packaging industry and food packaging trends will also be welcome. Each report shall include separate sections, including but not limited to: An executive summary. Market size. Market segmentation. Key trends and market forecasts. Company market shares. Brand market shares. Major companies, brands, and products.
Renewal: 1 year allowable extension included in this contract.
LOT 2 - Global food and drink market intelligence reports and dataThe supply of market intelligence and market data for the food and drink industry for a list of global locations. The Contractor shall provide detailed food and drink industry market intelligence data for the United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Poland, the USA, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, China, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, India, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, the Philippines, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Australia, New Zealand, Egypt, Kenya, and South Africa. Data and market intelligence reports provided for these countries and territories shall cover a wide variety of food and drink products by retail market size, sales, and volume and provide detailed market segmentation, company market shares, brand market shares and forecast growth rates. The Contractor shall also provide detailed data on the food and drink retailing, and catering sectors in these countries along with socio-economic data.
Renewal: 1 year extension is allowable for this contract.
LOT 3 - Provision of detailed company financial information on food and drink coThe supply of financial information data of companies in the food and drink industry based in the UK. The Contractor shall provide detailed, searchable, company financial information on both stock market listed and private agricultural, food and drink manufacturing, food and drink wholesaling, grocery retailing, catering/foodservice, fishing, and transport companies operating in the United Kingdom and the Irish Republic. The Contractor shall ensure that a wide variety of both current and historical company financial details on issues such as but not limited to company turnover, pre-tax profit, profit margins, return on capital, staff employed, wages, capital expenditure, etc is accessible and available online to the Authority. This data shall be available not only for the main operating unit of a company but also for any significant subsidiaries for which company returns are filed.
Renewal: 1 Year extension is allowable with this contract.
