Summary of the contracting process

The NHS Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Integrated Care Board is planning a procurement process for a Special Allocation Scheme aimed at providing health services for specific patient needs within Nottingham and Nottinghamshire. This tender falls under the Health services category (CPV: 85100000) and is currently at the planning stage, with the intention to award through the Most Suitable Provider Process, guided by the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. The contract is set to last four years with an estimated annual value of £143,500. The service is intended to begin from 1st April 2026, with a notice period lasting 14 days from the publication date. Interested suppliers should have premises within the specified regions of Nottingham and Nottinghamshire and be able to meet the rigorous standards of the NHS.

This procurement presents substantial opportunities for businesses specialising in healthcare provision, particularly those with experience in delivering primary medical services in line with NHS standards and regulations. Companies equipped with strong security protocols and the ability to integrate seamlessly with existing healthcare services in Nottinghamshire will find themselves well-suited for participation. The necessity for robust clinical governance and quality improvements also highlights opportunities for businesses focused on healthcare management and consultancy. This process will be particularly beneficial for organisations that can demonstrate local integration, strong healthcare delivery networks, and compliance with national healthcare regulations.
