Notice Description
Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service carry out Safe and Well visits to esidents of the county who are vulnerable to the risk of fire in their homes. As part of these home visits, flame retardant bedding items can be given to residents. NFRS requires a compliant route to market for the purchase of these items.

Procurement Information
The NFRS Statement of Requirements contains three items which align with items 1.1, 1.2 and 1.13 on the framework (ref. C5682). As our requirement could be fulfilled by items already priced up by suppliers in the framework tender process, a further competition was deemed unnecessary. The full range of items in our requirement could only be supplied by one supplier so the decision was made to Direct Award to Thomas Kneale & Co.
