Summary of the contracting process

The Department for Education has concluded its procurement process for the Top Apprenticeship Employer Rankings for 2026 and 2027, awarding the contract to RMP Enterprise Ltd. This initiative aims to identify and celebrate outstanding apprenticeship providers through the creation of a Top 100 Employers list and a Top 50 SME Employers list. It encompasses various administrative tasks including the management of entries, quality assurance, and ranking compilation. Originating from London, this contract falls under the advertising consultancy services category with a comprehensive value of £380,000, and it follows the open procedure method. This tender presents significant business growth opportunities, particularly for SMEs specialised in event and advertising consultancy services, given its focus on managing apprenticeship rankings and related promotional activities. RMP Enterprise's success exemplifies the potential for growth by engaging with government projects aimed at educational and employability enhancement. Businesses experienced in project management, content creation, and quality assurance measures are well positioned to benefit from similar opportunities, with the scope to influence key industry metrics and increase visibility in the UK's education sector.
