    "description": "Stirling Council, in collaboration with Police Scotland, Falkirk Council, and Clackmannanshire Council, is in the process of undertaking a joint procurement exercise for the provision of stray dog services. The proposed contract will cover seven-day kennelling for stray dogs, followed by rehoming support for any animals remaining unclaimed after the statutory holding period. Please note that this procurement exercise relates exclusively to kennelling and rehoming services. Other statutory functions carried out by Animal Control Officers--such as dog control enforcement and the collection of stray dogs--do not fall within the scope of this initiative. To support early market engagement and inform the development of the service specification, we are pleased to invite you to attend an information session. The purpose of this session is to: - Share initial proposals regarding the scope of the procurement - Gather insights and feedback from potential service providers - Understand market capabilities and any operational constraints - Explore innovative approaches to kennelling and rehoming process Session Details: Date: Tuesday 19th August Time: 1pm-4.30pm Location: The Wallace Room, Old Viewforth, 14-20 Pitt Terrace, Stirling, FK8 2ET We welcome your participation and would be grateful for your input.
