Full Turnkey Biomass Reinstatement - Strathearn Community Campus and Breadalbane Community Campus
Description: Perth and Kinross Council (PKC) seeks to procure a strategic delivery partner to reinstate, optimise, and operate biomass heating systems across three key educational campuses: Strathearn Community Campus, Breadalbane Community Campus, and Blairgowrie Community Campus. This initiative forms part of PKC's wider commitment to reducing carbon emissions while maximising the use of existing low-carbon infrastructure.
Summary: Perth & Kinross Council is procuring works to reinstate, optimise and operate biomass heating systems at Strathearn Community Campus, Breadalbane Community Campus and Blairgowrie Community Campus. The requirement covers upgrading fuel storage and associated auger systems, capital works and repairs to biomass boilers, servicing and maintenance, and the supply of woodchip fuel. The strategic delivery partner will support the Council’s aim of reducing carbon emissions while making use of existing low-carbon heating infrastructure. This is a biomass heating installation, operation and maintenance requirement, classified under CPV 45331110. The work will be delivered across the three educational campuses in Perthshire.
