Homelessness and Rough Sleeping Contract - West London Floating Support Service
Notice Description
The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea on behalf of the West London Housing is seeking to engage with a suitable support provider to deliver a housing related floating support service for former rough sleepers, or single people at risk of homelessness or rough sleeping, to help them settle into independent accommodation. The service will help to deliver the partnerships' strategic aims of preventing homelessness by delivering support to people that enables independent living such as maintaining a tenancy and meeting tenancy obligations, improving daily living skills, improving health and wellbeing, finances and access to employment. Minimum Requirements The Supplier will be required to: *Support people with low to medium needs that are living in independent accommodation anywhere in the West London Housing Partnership Boroughs of RBKC, LBHF, Brent, Ealing, Hillingdon, Hounslow or Harrow, and who are either formerly homeless or rough sleeping, or at risk of becoming homeless or rough sleeping. *Have capacity to support a minimum of 65 people at any one time, for up to 6-months. *Deliver support to service users through a mixture of access channels including face to face in the community, in service user's homes, by telephone and online / video calls. *Adapt the available support flexibly to meet service demand and respond to individual need. *Evidence and demonstrate a strong track record of delivering similar services. *Ability to work in partnership with a wide range of stakeholders and link people into relevant support services to meet their needs and promote independent living.
