Summary of the contracting process

The Ministry of Defence, located in Bristol, United Kingdom, is in the planning stage of a public procurement process related to military electronic systems. It involves a Request for Information (RFI) titled "Joint C-UAS Office (JCO) Security Briefing Day," scheduled for 3rd November 2025 at RAF High Wycombe, within the Spitfire Auditorium. This event will focus on UAS/C-UAS activities, providing an overview for industry partners. Interested parties must express their interest by 17th October 2025 to attend, noting that each company is limited to one representative, who must hold current Security Clearance. This initiative aims to collect expressions of interest from potential providers, though it does not mark the commencement of formal procurement activities.

This briefing represents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in military electronic systems, command, control, communication and computer systems, intelligence, and electronic warfare systems. Firms that possess the requisite security clearance and have expertise in these fields can benefit greatly by participating, networking, and gaining early insights into upcoming activities and developments in the sector. Businesses equipped with innovative solutions in these areas would be well-placed to join this initiative, facilitating collaboration and potentially preparing for future tender opportunities. The event provides a platform for businesses to position themselves favourably for impending opportunities within the defence procurement landscape.

The Briefing is scheduled to be held at RAF High Wycombe, Mon 3 Nov 25, within the Spitfire Auditorium located on Site 1. It is planned to take place between 1300-1600, consisting of several briefs with time for questions and discussion as required.
