Elaros Long Covid App
Notice Description
An app to enable a digital version of the C19-YRS questionnaire recommended by NHS England to grade the severity of prevalent post-Covid or "long Covid" symptoms following contraction of the illness over an indefinite period. This is a 12 month contract.

Post-COVID-19 syndrome is characterised by signs and symptoms that develop during or after an infection consistent with COVID-19, continue for >12 weeks, and are not explained by an alternative diagnosis. Common symptoms of long COVID include but not limited to fatigue, breathlessness, and 'brain fog'. A digital version of the C19-YRS questionnaire recommended by NHS England to grade the severity of prevalent post-Covid or "long Covid" symptoms following contraction of the illness over an indefinite period has been developed by the digital health company, ELAROS, in a collaborative partnership with The University of Leeds and Leeds Community Healthcare NHS Trust. Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust is intending to award a contract an existing provider following direct award process C. The service will be operational between 1 July 2025 and 30 June 2026

Other justification for the award of the contract without prior publication of a call for competition in the Official Journal of the European Union or the Find a Tender service This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The publication of this notice marks the start of the standstill period. Representations by providers must be made to the relevant authority by 24 October 2025. This contract has not yet formally been awarded; this notice serves as an intention to award under the PSR
