Summary of the contracting process

The London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham is currently in the tender stage for the procurement of Public Health Nursing and Maternity in the Community Services, aimed at enhancing health outcomes for residents. The procurement, valued at £29.4 million, is categorised under Community Health Services. It involves three service lots: Health Visiting, School Nursing, and Maternity in the Community, each evaluated independently. Identified under the Open procedure method, the tender process allows submissions until 10th November 2025, with services distributed within the Hammersmith & Fulham area. This initiative operates under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulation 2023, exempting it from the Public Contracts Regulations 2015.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in health services to expand their operations and enhance their service portfolios. Ideal candidates are providers equipped with expertise in community health, ideally with CQC registration, particularly pertinent for Lots 1 and 2. By participating, businesses can contribute to vital public health outcomes, including early childhood development and educational health initiatives, whilst benefiting from potential contracts of up to eight years when extension options are utilised. This is predominantly appealing to entities capable of delivering comprehensive, quality-assured health services on a substantial scale, targeting diverse family health needs across socio-economic spectrums.
