Evidence of current service delivery against the PSR Key Criteria and the breakdown of Key Criteria weighting in relation to this service for the purposes of awarding a contract under Direct Award C is detailed below: Quality & Innovation (25%) Quality * The provider has consistently delivered high clinical outcomes, including success rates for IVF and ICSI that meet or exceed national benchmarks. * Most recent CQC ratings in 2023 and internal audits confirm safe, effective, and patient-centred care. * Patient feedback and satisfaction scores are high, especially regarding emotional support from staff, communication and continuity of care. Innovation * The provider uses cutting-edge techniques such as time-lapse embryo imaging and AI-based embryo selection. * They participate in clinical trials and research, contributing to national fertility knowledge. * Patient experience is enhanced through digital platforms, personalised treatment plans, and treatment companion app Salve. Integration, Collaboration & Sustainability (20%) * The provider works closely with local Trusts, primary care, gynaecology, and mental health services, ensuring seamless referral pathways. * There is data-sharing and interoperability with NHS systems, supporting continuity and safeguarding. * The service contributes to the local fertility strategy and aligns with ICS priorities. Improving access, reducing health inequalities and facilitating choice (20%) * The provider offers equitable access, including support for LGBTQ+ families, single parents, and those requiring donor gametes. * Clinics are located within reasonable travel distance or offer virtual consultations for initial assessments. * Waiting times are within NHS targets, and the provider has capacity to meet demand without delays. * The provider holds virtual events and webinars for patients to support education and understanding of the services Value (25%) * The service operates on an activity-based pricing, ensuring cost-effectiveness. * The provider offers bundled pricing for multi-cycle treatments and has demonstrated efficiency in resource use. * The provider has a strong record on staff retention and satisfaction, reducing turnover and improving continuity of care. Social Value (10%) * The provider employs local clinical and administrative staff, contributing to job creation. * They partner with local suppliers for medical consumables and support services, aligning with NHS anchor institution principles. * The clinic has implemented green initiatives, such as: o Low-energy lab equipment o Digital patient records to reduce paper use * They are aligned with the NHS Net Zero Supplier Roadmap, meeting 2025 carbon reduction milestones. * Partnering with Nature's SAFE to support the development of their biobank through a PS5,000 donation and by repurposing a state-of-the-art Geri(r) time-lapse incubator for their groundbreaking work.
