Provision of MEP and Energy Consultant Services (4 Sites)
Description: Waverley Borough Council (WBC) is seeking to appoint a competent, reputable and financially sound practice of mechanical and electrical engineers to provide technical advice, guidance and 'sense-checking' of its architects' designs prior to planning and then during discussions with the appointed build contractor. The Contract Term is twenty-four months, to the option to extend for a further twelve months.
Summary: Waverley Borough Council is seeking mechanical and electrical engineering consultancy services for four sites. The appointed practice will provide technical advice and guidance on the council’s architects’ designs, including sense-checking proposals before planning and during discussions with the appointed build contractor. The requirement covers building mechanical and electrical installation design and energy-efficiency consultancy, alongside construction consultancy input. It is a professional services opportunity for an engineering practice able to review designs and advise throughout pre-construction and contractor engagement. The work is associated with sites in the South East of England. The council is a sub-central public authority based at The Burys, Godalming, Surrey, and will act as the buyer for the services.
