This is a notice to inform the market the procurement has been abandoned.<br/><br/>NHS Norfolk & Waveney ICB (NWICB) invited bids for the Provision of a Learning Disability Respite Service for People aged 18+ with a learning disability, who are under the duty of care of NHS Continuing Healthcare (CHC) and are registered with a GP within Norfolk & Waveney.<br/><br/>The successful Provider will deliver a five-bed residential respite service with nursing care for adults with learning disabilities and complex health needs.<br/><br/>The service will be provided 24 hours per day, seven days a week including days, evenings and weekends, and will be provided over a full 52 weeks per year, as defined and detailed in the Essential Standards set by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). Except for closure for staff training (4 days per year) and Christmas closure arrangements to be agreed with the nominated liaison team manager who oversees referrals to the service.

NHS Norfolk and Waveney Integrated Care Board invited competitive offers for the provision of a Learning Disability Respite Service for People aged 18+ with a learning disability, who are under the duty of care of NHS Continuing Healthcare (CHC) and are registered with a GP within Norfolk & Waveney.

The successful Provider will be responsible for delivering a five-bed residential respite service with nursing care for adults with learning disabilities and complex health needs.

The service will be provided 24 hours per day, seven days a week including days, evenings and weekends, and will be provided over a full 52 weeks per year, as defined and detailed in the Essential Standards set by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). Except for closure for staff training (4 days per year) and Christmas closure arrangements to be agreed with the nominated liaison team manager who oversees referrals to the service.

The contract was for an initial period of 3 years with the option to extend for up to an additional 2 years. The annual value is circa PS680,000 per annum with an initial 3 year contract value of PS2,040,000 and max 5 year contract value of PS3,400,000.
