The notice relates to community health care services. This notice is an intention to award a contract to the existing provider following Direct Award Process C. Contract Length and Value: The contract for the Service will be awarded for a period of 5 years (60 months), with an optional extension for a further period of 2 years (24 months) at the sole discretion of the Authority. Therefore, the maximum duration of this contract, if all extension options are taken up will be 7 years (84 months). Annual contract value: PS47,000,000 5 year initial term Value: PS235,000,000 7 year total possible lifetime value: PS329,000,000 The contract will start on 01/12/2026 and end 30/11/2031, if the optional extension is utilised the contract end date will be 30/11/2033. Additional information: This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The publication of this notice marks the start of the standstill period. Representations by providers must be made to decision makers by midnight Wednesday 29 October 2025. This contract has not yet formally been awarded; this notice serves as an intention to award under the PSR. The provider was scored on a 0 - 5 scale and a % allocation based on importance of the criteria. The criteria for evaluation had the following weighting : 1) Quality and Innovation: 15% 2) Value: 15% 3) Integration, Collaboration, and Service Sustainability: 15% 4) Improving Access, Reducing Health Inequalities, and Facilitating Choice: 15% 5) Social Value: 10% 6) Ability to deliver on future requirements (local strategy): 15% 7) Ability to deliver on future requirements (service specifications): 15% The criteria were applied with their respective weightings as specified.
Options: The contract term will be 5 year with the option to extend for a further 2 years at the sole discretion of the Authority. The contract will start on 01/12/2026 and end 30/11/2031, if the optional extension is utilised the contract end date will be 30/11/2033.
