Notice Description
Contract for the collection, haulage and reprocessing of paper and card. Lot 1 bagged paper and card, lot 2 unbagged paper and card (we will be switching from bagged to unbagged during the contract)
Lot Information
Bagged Mixed Paper and Cardboard
In 2023/24 a combined total of approximately 8,600 tonnes of mixed paper and cardboard was collected with single use plastic sacks used as a collection medium
Renewal: An option to extend for a further period of up to 60 months.
Unbagged Paper and CardboardIn 2023/24 a combined total of approximately 8,600 tonnes of mixed paper and cardboard was collected with single use plastic sacks used as a collection medium. Residents requiring collection of large pieces of cardboard (boxes etc.) at the kerbside are requested to fold the material and place unbagged alongside the bags for collection, or alternatively deposit directly at one of our HWRC's.

Baled CardboardIn 2023/24 the council collected around 2,600 tonnes of cardboard boxes from businesses throughout the county. The cardboard is baled and stored prior to collection by the re-processor
