SYMCA - Life Extension for 25 Trams - Supertram Network
Notice Description
SYMCA require an organisation to undertake a targeted Life Extension Programme across a fleet of 25 Siemens Trams. This life extension is required to ensure performance, reliability, structural strength and crashworthiness are maintained at an acceptable level throughout the remaining service life of the fleet to 2035.

Date: Monday 24th November 2025 Time: 9.30 a.m. - 5.00 p.m. Location: SYMCA offices,11 Broad Street West, Sheffield City Centre, Sheffield, S1 2BQ 09.30-11.30 - Presentation followed by Q & A session 11.30-13.00 - Site visit to Nunnery Depot 14.00-1700 - Supplier Engagement Following the depot visit, individual slots will be allocated to suppliers for direct engagement. These will be arranged once attendance numbers are confirmed. The following topics will be explored with suppliers during the individual engagement slots: - Form of Contract - Delivery Model - Pricing Mechanism/Commercial Model - Social Value - Key Performance Indicators/ Performance Monitoring - Procurement of specialist items of equipment.
