Notice Title
25090 Mental Health Recovery and Inclusion Service
Notice Description
Cambridgeshire County Council currently commissions Cambridge, Peterborough and South Lincolnshire Mind (CPSL Mind) to deliver the Mental Health Recovery and Community Inclusion Service, which is due to be re-commissioned from 1 September 2026. We are conducting a soft market test to gather insights from potential providers and better understand the current landscape from a provider's perspective. The incumbent has branded the service as 'The Good Life Service', which may be used interchangeably with the commissioned title. Service Overview: The Mental Health Recovery and Community Inclusion Service supports adults living in Cambridgeshire who have moderate to severe mental health needs, whether formally diagnosed or not, and would benefit from community-based interventions that promote positive wellbeing. The service is strengths-based, encouraging peer support, community connections, and helping individuals build resilience, independence, and coping skills. It was co-produced with people who have lived experience of mental health challenges and offers a mix of face-to-face and online support, tailored to individual needs. There is currently a lead contractor, working with several subcontracted providers to deliver specialist elements of the service. We are open to consortium bids for this contract.
