Pioneer's current gas servicing and maintenance contract is a 3-star service covering 2,400 properties. The current contract is provided by an external Service Provider, and it expires in September 2026. The majority of boilers are of a domestic nature, with a small number of commercial installations and domestic solar thermal installations. Pioneer also undertakes approximately 50 boiler replacements each year. The procurement process for the new contract expected to commence in January 2026 with the new contract commencing by September 2026. Prior to launching the procurement process, Pioneer is undertaking a Pre Market Engagement exercise.
