Gordano School SEND Resource Base Design & Build
Notice Description
North Somerset Council are looking for a Principal Contractor for the design & construction to expand the existing facilities for pupils with Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND) at Gordano School in Portishead. The project entails refurbishment of the existing accommodation to create a new 25 space Resource Base. The completed project is to be delivered by the end of November 2026.

Suppliers were invited to complete a Market Engagement Questionnaire. This was issued via the ProActis/Supplying the South West Portal (open). The questionnaire responses were used to ascertain if proposed timeframes, contract type & procurement process were acceptable to the market and also to better understand what social value and climate actions could be appropriate for this project.
