Notice Description

Watford Borough Council (the Council) intends to enter into a deed of variation to vary and extend the contract with Smidsy Ltd T/A Beryl (the Contractor) dated 22 October 2019 (the Underlying Contract) for the provision of a bike share scheme in Watford. The Underlying Contract was originally procured under Procurement reference BIP435546557 and published on 11 October 2019. The maximum total of this contract extension sum is PS254,275 (PS50,855 p.a. x 5 years) and would commence on 1 April 2026 when the current contracts ends (on 31 March 2026) for a period of 5 years with a rolling break clause from year 3 on 12 month's notice.

Procurement Information

(ii)the modification does not alter the overall nature of the contract. (iii)any increase in price does not exceed 50% of the value of the original contract or framework agreement.
