Notice Description
The purpose of the event is to engage with the Contractor market prior to any procurement activity. The Council is seeking to tender to appoint a Contractor for the development of Rock House into a 4 bedroom post 16 residential provision to support the council's Looked After Children strategy. The works comprise of the creation of four self-contained studio flats, each with ensuite shower/WC and kitchenette and a staffed area including sleep-in room, office, WC/shower, laundry, plant and storage, plus a modest communal lounge/activity space and circulation. . Form of contract: JCT Standard Building Contract Estimated tender publication date: w/c 05/01/2026 Works commence: Estimated April 2026, Estimated 12-week contract
