Notice Title
Private Patients Partner
Notice Description
MFT is a regional and national centre of excellence in certain specialist areas and can attract patients from much further afield, including international patients. Research and Innovation activity is conducted across all our Clinical Groups supported by our integrated Research Office, Clinical Delivery and Operational Management teams, Innovation services, and MFT-hosted organisations. These include Health Innovation Manchester and one of the largest National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) portfolios in the country. MFT now sees opportunity for development of private care activity as a fundamental component of financing future growth and attracting world class clinicians. We are now exploring opportunities to expand private care services across the Trust. Our consultants are already actively engaged, ensuring that any development is clinically driven and fully aligned with our patient care priorities. With the right partners, MFT is well positioned to scale up its private care activities by leveraging our infrastructure, specialist expertise, and operational capacity. This market engagement aims to identify interest from regional, national and international hospital operators who share our vision. MFT is open to a range of partnership models - from contractual arrangements to corporate joint ventures - that will optimise our private patient offer, bring further innovation and investment, and which can deliver mutual value and sustainable growth. The purpose of the market engagement is for MFT to understand what types of partnership would be attractive to different potential partners - range of delivery, investment and commercial structures available - such that we can design a procurement process which is likely to lead to the best long-term outcomes for all parties. Organisations interested in engaging in this early market dialogue are invited to submit a completed short Expression of Interest (EOI) on the form provided which includes: * Overview of your organisation and relevant experience for the delivery of private practice care, including any involvement in public sector partnerships; * Indicative thoughts on potential partnership models or innovations; * Confirmation of investment capability and capacity; * Approach to Clinical Governance and Quality Assurance; and * Contact details for follow-up discussions. We have set out a list of topics aligning, but not limited to, the EOI in the supporting information for potential partner organisations to consider. Deadline for the submission of EOIs is noon 23rd January 2026 This is a preliminary engagement exercise designed to gather insight and test feasibility before any formal procurement. It will help inform our business case and plans but will not in any way influence the outcome for future tender opportunities. At this stage, no commitment is being made by the Trust to procure any services, and no funding or contractual arrangements are in place. The Trust is utilising its e-tendering portal Atamis for this process. Interested suppliers must register with the e-tendering Portal which can be accessed online at https://healthfamily.force.com/s/Welcome. If Suppliers have any problems with the portal, please contact the helpdesk on 029 2279 0058 or via email at Support-health@atamis.co.uk Your responses to the EOI and any clarification questions should be uploaded into Atamis. All communications regarding the process/outcome will be published via the portal so please ensure your contact and registration emails are up to date. The market engagement information and EOI form can be dowloaded from Atamis: Project Reference C407947
