West Northamptonshire Council (WNC) - Oral Health Promotion Service
Notice Description
West Northamptonshire Council (WNC) is inviting tenders for the delivery of a comprehensive Oral Health Promotion Service across West Northamptonshire. The service will coordinate, facilitate and deliver evidence-based oral health improvement interventions aimed at improving oral health outcomes and reducing oral health inequalities for children, vulnerable adults and older people. The scope of the service includes, but is not limited to: -Delivery and expansion of a targeted Supervised Toothbrushing Programme in early years and school settings -Oral health training, workforce development and championing for professionals and volunteers -Organisational support, policy development and accreditation schemes for early years, education and care settings -Partnership working with the Council, NHS and voluntary and community sector organisations -Targeted distribution of oral health packs to priority population groups -Performance monitoring, reporting and continuous service improvement The full requirements are set out in the Invitation to Tender and Service Specification, available via the Council's e-Procurement portal.

Renewal: The contract will be awarded for an initial period of two (2) years, with the option to extend for up to two further periods of one (1) year, subject to performance and funding availability, to a maximum contract term of four (4) years.

West Northamptonshire Council is undertaking a preliminary market engagement exercise to gather supplier feedback to inform the future procurement of an Oral Health Promotion Service. Interested organisations may request the pre-market engagement document and questionnaire by emailing procurement@westnorthants.gov.uk Completed questionnaires must be returned by email to PHContractsTeam@westnorthants.gov.uk by 13 January 2026. No supplier events are planned as part of this engagement. Any clarification questions should be submitted by email using the same contact details. Participation in this engagement is voluntary and will not prejudice or advantage any organisation in any future procurement process.
