Intensive Housing Advice and Support Service
Notice Description
London Borough of Lewisham invite suppliers to tender for a floating support service providing brief but intensive support to adults Lewisham with additional support needs. The Intensive Housing Advice and Support Service (IHASS) will deliver brief, intensive housing-related support to service users whose accommodation is at risk, or who would be at risk of losing their accommodation without timely intervention. This may include providing targeted support to service users requiring resettlement. The service has focus on tenancy sustainment and resolving immediate crisis in people's lives. The service operates across Lewisham. The aim of the service is to prevent homelessness and to support service users to develop the skills, confidence, and stability required to sustain independent accommodation and independent living.

Planning Information
London Borough of Lewisham are inviting providers to attend a market warming event on the 3rd February 2026 at 2pm to learn more about the services and the procurement process. The event will provide an overview of service requirements and the competitive tendering process, including timelines. Interested organisations are encouraged to attend to engage with commissioners and ask questions ahead of the formal tender launch. The Council would like to extend this pre-market engagement invitation to companies and organisations of all sizes including local SME's. Members of the Council's Supported Housing Commissioning Team and Procurement team will be in attendance to discuss the details of the opportunities, services required and the procurement process. To register for the event please email lewisham.procurement@lewisham.gov.uk by 12pm Friday 30th of January 2026. Following confirmation of your attendance, a Microsoft Teams link will be issued closer to the time.
