Notice Description
Newcastle City Council intends to procure works for the replacement of heat meters and installation of M-bus data collection systems across two major residential sites: St Ann's Estate: Replacement of heat meters and M-bus data collection on 258 properties. Estimated value: PS1,200,000. Cruddas Park House: Replacement of heat meters and M-bus data collection on 159 properties. Estimated value: PS1,000,000. Scope of Works: The project will deliver new heat meters and a centralised M-bus data collection system at both locations, supporting accurate energy monitoring and billing. Procurement Approach: Both schemes will be tendered as a single procurement exercise to maximise efficiency and value for money. The Council will seek a contractor to deliver both elements under one contract. This pipeline notice is for information only. At this stage, no further details are available beyond what is published here. When this opportunity progresses, a Tender Notice will be published on the Central Digital Platform.
