Funding is needed to increase the staff capacity of counsellors and Youth Mental heath workers to manage increased referrals since the introduction of the Children & Young People -Mental Health Advice, Support and Access Service service. Whilst this has decreased the level of referrals to secondary services it has increased numbers coming into early help services, meaning more young people are in need of this support. This modification will also include the inflationary uplifts for 2024/2025 & 2025/2026.
