NHS Shared Business Services, acting as an agent for the following NHS Integrated Care Boards: NHS Greater Manchester ICB NHS Derby and Derbyshire ICB Is intending to award a contract for the Provision of Non-Emergency Patient Transport Services (NEPTS) across Greater Manchester and part of Derbyshire (Glossop Place) in respect of Lot 2 of notice 2026/S 000-001739.

Lot Information

Cheshire and Merseyside

This is an intention to award a contract under the competitive process. The scope of services will include: * Planned Patient Transport: Routine transport for outpatient appointments. * Unplanned Patient Transport: Transport for patient discharges and short-notice bookings. * Enhanced Priority Service Transport: Time-critical transport for patients attending haemodialysis or oncology treatments. Approximate lifetime value of the contract is PS144,741,878 [Indexation] The service is expected to be provided from the Service Commencement date of 01 April 2027 to the expiry of the initial term on 31 March 2032. The Relevant Authority may extend the contract following the expiry of the initial term by a further three years to expire on 31 March 2035. This service replaces an existing service and will be provided by a new provider.

Options: There is a three year extension option at the end of the five year contract initial term post service commencement.

Greater Manchester (GM) and Derby and Derbyshire (Glossop Place)

Greater Manchester & Derby & Derbyshire Service Delivery. Each lot will use the same three (3) service specifications and include Planned Patient Transport: Routine transport for outpatient appointments Unplanned Patient Transport: Transport for patient discharges and short-notice bookings Enhanced Priority Service Transport: Time-critical transport for patients attending haemodialysis or oncology treatments. The Relevant Authority anticipates that it will appoint a Service Provider for each Lot separately. Each Lot is standalone and will be evaluated and awarded separately from the other Lots. A Service Provider may be successful in more than one Lot.

Options: There is a three year extension option at the end of the five year contract term post service commencement which applies to each lot.

Lancashire & South Cumbria, North East & North Cumbria

Lancashire & South Cumbria, North East & North Cumbria Service Delivery Each lot will use the same three (3) service specifications and include Planned Patient Transport: Routine transport for outpatient appointments Unplanned Patient Transport: Transport for patient discharges and short-notice bookings Enhanced Priority Service Transport: Time-critical transport for patients attending haemodialysis or oncology treatments.
