Central Line Signalling Incremental Upgrade Early Contractor Involvement - Variation 3 (Proof of Concept)
Notice Description
This variation relates to a 12-month extension of the Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) contract with Siemens Mobility under the Central Line Signalling Incremental Upgrade Project (CSIP) for the Eastern section of the Central Line, known as Wayside East. In addition, approval is requested for an additional procurement authority to cover the 12 month extension budget.
Procurement Information
Siemens holds the necessary data protocols and software tools required to integrate new equipment with the existing systems without disrupting operations. It is also not feasible to engage an alternative contractor to undertake works or services on these systems.
