Cubic are the only supplier that can provide Testing, Support and Maintenance services for the hardware, as they are the supplier of the hardware therefore there is no alternative to this Supplier as the equipment must replicate the equipment Cubic have installed at the TOC stations (otherwise it invalidates the point of the Test facility) which were installed as the result of a competitive tender by the Train Operating Companies.
