NHS England (London Region) direct award C under PSR (Provider Selection Regime) for Primary Care service provision into HMP Wandsworth. This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The publication of this notice marks the start of the standstill period. Representations by providers must be made by 06/03/2026 This contract has not yet formally been awarded; this notice serves as an intention to award under the PSR.

The notice relates to health care services to be delivered into HMP Wandsworth prison This notice is an intention to award a contract to the existing provider following direct award process C. The lifetime Value of the contract is PS100,190,896.00 (PS14,312,958.00 per annum). The contract term will be 5 years with the option to extend for a further 2 years at the sole discretion of the Authority. The contract will start on 01/09/2026 and end 31/08/2031, if the optional extension is utilised the contract end date will be 31/08/33.

Beyond the demonstrable fulfilment of the key criteria - specifically, assessment of the provider's current performance against the existing contract and their likely future performance under the new contract - the authority also considered evidence from formal assurance processes, review of the provider's submissions, input from stakeholders involved in contract delivery and feedback from service users. This evidence provided further assurance and informed the authority's decision-making in support of Direct Award Process C under the PSR. No conflicts of interest declared.
