Provision of Emergency O&M Services - Energy from Waste Facility
Notice Description
The Authority have procured a short-term emergency contract for the operation and maintenance of the Energy from Waste Facility. The Contractor will be required to operate the facility, accept and treat Contract Waste, undertake all necessary maintenance, and ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, permits, and health and safety requirements. The contract will provide continuity of service following the termination of the previous operating arrangement while a longer-term solution is procured.

Lot 1
The Authority requires a short-term emergency contract for the operation and maintenance of the Energy from Waste Facility in Aberdeen. The Contractor will be responsible for providing the day-to-day operation of the facility, handling and processing of waste and providing maintenance of the plant and equipment. This contract is being put in place to ensure continuity of service following the termination of the previous contractor and will remain in effect only until a longer-term operational Contractor is procured by the Authority.
Options: Yes, optional extension of up to 6 months.
