Summary of the contracting process

The University of Greenwich is actively engaged in planning a procurement process titled "SEO and GEO Services and Consultancy" to enhance its digital presence across the UK and internationally. The project will commence on 1 July 2026, with a planned completion on 30 June 2029, and carries an estimated value of £170,000 plus VAT for a contract period of three years, with a potential extension of twelve months. As a sub-central government public authority, the University is seeking expertise in IT services related to consulting, software development, and support. This initiative falls under market engagement, with interested parties advised to monitor the Central Digital Platform for updates, particularly by the milestone date of 26 March 2026.

This procurement presents opportunities for businesses specialising in SEO consultancy, content optimisation, and digital strategy. It aims to improve organic traffic and search visibility, aligning with the University's strategic goals to bolster its presence in educational markets. Companies with a strong track record in digital marketing or IT services will find this tender particularly fitting. Furthermore, it represents an opportunity to work with two universities under one structure – the University of Greenwich and Kent's multi-university group, pioneering a unique collaborative model starting in August 2026. Suitable contenders are encouraged to engage with this early-stage process to provide solutions that can scale across the university's platforms and serve its diverse student body.
