Solar Options for Schools Ltd has been appointed to deliver the solar programme by AECOM following a competitive tendering using the Crown Commercial Service Demand Management and Renewables DPS (RM6313). AECOM is the delivery partner for the Department for Education (DfE) / GB Energy school's solar programme. AECOM was appointed using the Crown Commercial Service (Procurement reference 470710/1502063) by LocatED, the delivery arm of the DfE. Solar Options for Schools Ltd was appointed to deliver the Northeast England Lot of schools which includes three maintained schools and one voluntary controlled school from South Tyneside. The schools were selected by AECOM for the programme according to the DfE's LocatED selection criteria and award process.
