Summary of the contracting process

Severn Trent Water Limited and Hafren Dyfrdwy Cyfyngedig are procuring a framework for ductile iron pipe and associated fittings for wastewater and potable-water applications. The single-lot goods requirement covers EN545 pipe and fabricated pipe, EN598 pipe and fabricated pipe, and EN545 and EN598 fittings. Products will be delivered across the United Kingdom. The utilities may verify claims through site visits, audits, supplier presentations, product inspections, certification reviews and validation of commitments. Commercial competitiveness will matter, including schedule-of-rates pricing, rebates, lead times, warranties, service levels and key performance measures. The framework can support suppliers able to serve substantial UK utility demand and participate in direct awards or mini-competitions.
