This procurement process, intended for the UKJ2 region, is at the award stage, subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. The contract award is scheduled for 30 March 2026, following a standstill period from 16 March to 25 March 2026. This limited procedure does not involve prior publication of a call for competition, adhering to the rationale that the procurement falls outside the scope of the directive. Representations by providers should be submitted by 25 March 2026.

This tender represents a strategic opportunity for suppliers specialising in health services who are interested in collaborating or expanding their operations within NHS frameworks. Given the scope to recontract existing services and potentially include new suppliers, businesses with a strong track record in health services and experience in the UK healthcare system are well-positioned to compete. With a budget envelope compliant with PSR Direct Award Process C, the tender offers possibilities for fiscal stability while adhering to specific regulations and potential growth through optional contract extensions until 2029.
