The Council has now been awarded feasibility stage funding from the National Lottery Heritage Lottery Fund to develop the concept of a heritage attraction and test ideas for the site and explore further the extent of repairs and restoration required, as well as how to overcome the access limitations presented by the current site. There are two strands of work which this contract intends to commission: preparation of the Business Plan, and the creation of the Outline Audience Development and Activity Plan.
