    "description": "This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Procurement Act 2023 do not apply to this award. The standstill period begins on the day after the publication of this notice.<br/><br/>Representations by providers must be made to decision makers by 2400hrs (Midnight) on the 14th April 2026 to the following email address: england.vaccscontracts-emids@nhs.net<br/><br/>The decision makers for this process were Midlands Regional Commissioning Group.<br/><br/>There were no conflicts of interests declared in reaching the decision to award.<br/><br/>Following the conclusion of a competitive process in May 2025, which resulted in the none award of the School-Aged Immunisation Service in Lincolnshire the commissioner took the decision to direct award the contract to the existing provider to ensure continuity of service.<br/><br/>The existing provider was assessed against 5 key criteria:<br/><br/>* Quality and Innovation<br/>* Value<br/>* Integration, collaboration and service sustainability<br/>* Improving access, reducing health inequalities and facilitating choice.<br/>* Social Value<br/><br/>The assessment against each criterion was undertaken based on the current service delivery model and performance. Quality of service, including patient feedback, and value for money were the driving factors for the direct award decision. The supplier meets all the requirements specified to the satisfaction of the Commissioner, and it is expected that they will satisfy the requirements of the new contract going forwards.<br/><br/>Based on the evidence submitted, the Midlands Regional Commissioning Group were satisfied that the Direct Award of a contract to Lincolnshire Community Health NHS Trust is in line with the required criteria and are satisfied that Lincolnshire Community Health NHS Trust is an appropriate and suitable provider for the future.",
