Notice Title
Staff Occupational Health Services
Notice Description
The University of Plymouth is inviting expressions of interest from potential suppliers to provide occupational health (OH) services for our employees. The service should be capable of supporting up to 200 employee OH referrals per year and approximately eight health surveillance day clinics annually, with the understanding that these numbers may fluctuate in line with staffing levels. The provider will also be required to offer a vaccination service for employees, including immunisations necessary for work-related requirements such as Research Passports, where University staff undertake research with the NHS and must provide proof of immunisation. A key requirement is the provision of clear and unambiguous reports, including recommendations regarding the suitability of employees for work and any limitations or adjustments necessary to ensure their safety. Key responsibilities of the provider will include: * Scheduling appointments and follow-up appointments as required * Notifying the University of any missed appointments * Producing comprehensive reports on employee fitness for work, including any recommended adjustments * Providing health surveillance services * Delivering vaccination services The University of Plymouth intends to award a single-supplier a 3 year contract for the provision of occupational health services with the option to extend. Ideally providers would be based in the South West region to ensure cost-efficient mileage and minimise travel-related expenses. There are no documents to download on Mercell.
