Notice Description
Framework for the Provision of services to support the National Rollout for establishing a waste management route for existing High Activity Sealed Sources (HASS) in the UK. The Nuclear Decommissioning Authority is seeking to appoint a single supplier to support delivery of the National Rollout of Operation Fieldfare. The services comprise the safe, secure and compliant collection, dismantling, transport, interim storage, processing and return of Caesium-137 High Activity Sealed Sources contained within irradiator units located across the United Kingdom. The supplier will be required to provide an end-to-end waste management solution, including all necessary planning, site liaison, regulatory approvals, transport arrangements, source recovery, packaging, consignment documentation and delivery of sources to a UK site designated by the Authority, including Sellafield where applicable.
Planning Information
The NDA shall host a supplier engagement event on 26th August 2026, 10:00am to 12:00pm. This supplier event will be via a Microsoft Teams conference. To register an interest please sign into or register with Atamis our e-sourcing portal: https://one-nda.force.com/s/Welcome. Use the messaging function within the Atamis project (C30687) to provide details of names and email addresses of attendees. Maximum of 2 staff per supplier. This call will provide suppliers with a high-level overview of the programme, the procurement’s objectives and key requirements, and act as an opportunity for suppliers to ask questions. There is the potential for supplier one-to-one sessions the following week 1st,2nd,3rd September.
